The resuscitator can supply the patient with air form the atmophere (21% oxygen) and also if connected to an oxygen enrichment system and the reservoir bag it is able to supply a concentration up to 97%. It can be easily dismantled for cleaning or sterilising with gas or with cold solutions. The dead space of the valve is just 8 ml. The FR2 battery is a long life lithium battery designed to provide reliable servcie for the HeartStart FR2 AEDs model (M3860A and M3861A) – with and without ECG.
The Philips HeartStart FR2 battery is a disposable lithium manganese dioxide long-life battery with a five-year shelf life plus a (typical) four-year installed life or 300 shocks or 12 hours of operating time. Philips provides a four year warranty on the battery.
