The Crewfit 150N offers integral safety features such as the inflatable chin support. In addition the lifejacket remains easy to regularly maintain service and repack using a velcro closure system to ensure efficient and cost effective solutions for your operation.
Crewsaver has chosen the HAMMAR Hydrostatic firing head for its automatic inflation lifejackets. This design uses a simple hydrostatic valve that opens once submersed for approximately 2 seconds and allows water to penetrate the water soluble capsule inside. This capsule breaks-down just like a standard automatic firing head and releases a spring that fires the inflation needle into the gas cylinder thus inflating the lifejacket.
A manual Pull-Toggle is also provided to override the automatic mechanism so you can be assured that should you need to you can always inflate the lifejacket manually. The HAMMAR Hydrostatic automatic firing mechanism give excellent protection from random accidental inflation caused by moisture build-up during storage heavy rain or waves breaking over the wearer.

SAM Junctional Tourniquet with One Target Compression Device
The SAM Junctional Tourniquet for hemorrhage control is designed to control bleeding where tourniquets would not be effective such as with IED/Blast injuries or high level amputations. With these types of injuries time is of the essence. The SAM® Junctional Tourniquet offers a simple design. It is compact easy to use (only four steps) and quick to apply (typically under 25 seconds). The Target Compression Device (TCD) is placed at or near the injury site and pumped up until the bleeding stops. Two TCDs can be used to occlude blood flow bilaterally if needed. The rugged design ensures that the device stays firmly attached to the patient during transport. Designed to exceed MIL-STD-810g requirements.
In addition the SAM Junctional Tourniquet is the ONLY junctional hemorrhage device FDA approved to stabilize pelvic fractures. Recent studies indicate that IED-type injuries often have associated pelvic fractures. The patented buckle provides the clinically correct force every time taking the guesswork out of tightening. “A revolutionary training arm that provides complete venous access for IV therapy and phlebotomy plus sites for intramuscular and intradermal injections. An extensive 8-line vascular system allows students to practice venipuncture at all primary and secondary locations including starting Ivs and introducing IV catheters. The venous system simplifies set-up with only one external fluid bag supplying artificial blood to all veins simultaneously.
The dorsal surface of the hand includes injectable metacarpal digital and thumb veins. The antecubital fossa includes the median cephalic median basilic and median cubital veins. Venipuncture can also be performed along the basilic cephalic accessory cephalic and median antebrachial veins. Intramuscular injections may be performed in the deltoid muscle and intradermal injection sites are located in the upper arm. Intramuscular injections into the deltoid muscle are enhanced by the soft lifelike skin and by the natural bony landmarks in the region. Pin Strap is an effective method for patient immobilization media. Suitable for all operations that require rapid execution without the typical risks caused by the use of rigid buckles such as damage to gloves or incomplete buckle closure. Designed to meet the needs of versatility and adaptability of constraint points for different patient size and pathology Pin belts Straps ensure a proper operational setting and safe immobilisation of the spine and limbs which allows distance transporting even in adverse situations in conditions of absolute safety. The carabineers allow the fixing of the belt system onto the spinal boards with integrated pin but at the same time the strap system allows it to be used even without the fixing pin with it using the more traditional anchor slots. The choice of materials and technique determines the unique features of lightness comfort stability adaptability and tolerance. The belt system allows to increase the performance of spinal immobilization of any spinal board making all kinds of rescue and recovery possible. PIN Straps can give excellent stability to the immobilization system counteracting the stresses in each direction of motion. The belts are not compatible with diagnostic imaging.
